Upcycle scrap paper into beautiful, plantable cards and gifts. This free workshop invites you to make your own seed paper and take it home. Come get creative and enjoy the process!

Egg Diorama Workshop

Join SEEDS and the squirrl nut art collective at this workshop making Gorgeous miniature dioramas inside an egg. We'll meet at the SEEDS outdoor classroom for an afternoon of crafting. Participants will experience all of the steps for creating a cut and enameled egg with a tiny 3D scene inside. The entire process can take several days, but we'll have materials on hand to move the process along so that each participant will be able to complete two eggs during the workshop.

This fun event, themed "Gardening Across Generations," offers demos, activities for kids, and advice from community experts. It's the perfect place to learn how to prepare your garden for spring and support local conservation and gardening efforts.

The 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓 𝐃𝐮𝐫𝐡𝐚𝐦 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐂𝐡𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐦𝐚𝐬 𝐃𝐫𝐢𝐯𝐞 is HERE!
We’re calling on our community to come together and spread holiday cheer. This two-day community event is designed to provide families with access to gently used and new items — including toys, clothing, and household goods — while supplies last. We will also have arts & crafts for the kids, Santa pictures, and light refreshments for all to enjoy!  
The event will be held on December 18th and December 19th at SEEDS in Durham, NC, bringing together residents, volunteers, and local organizations to share resources, hope, and holiday joy.  
Want to join the cause? Consider donating your gently used items.  
Donation Collection Period: Nov 10 – Dec 10  
Drop-Off Locations: Seeds 706 Gilbert St. Durham, NC 27701  
See flyer for more details on the type of acceptable donation(s). No donation is too little OR too small.
