Art Grows in Durham is SEEDS' biggest party, a festival for the whole community. Every spring we invite visual and performing artists, Durham's youth and community groups, gardeners and other friends of SEEDS to come together for a reunion in SEEDS' gorgeous Demonstration Garden. Visual artists display and sell their works (often for the first time) in our extremely inexpensive, truly grassroots gallery! We share food, relax in the garden together, enjoy performances by musicians, puppeteers, drummers, and poets, see old friends and get to know newcomers.

If you are an artist or performer who would be interested in participating in Art Grows in Durham call us at 683-1197 or send an e-mail to info@seedsnc.org

Other ways that you can get involved in the festivities include: posting flyers, helping young artists create masterpieces to display, play music, read poetry, drum, dance, show your paintings, sculpture, pottery, etc. Hope to see you there!

Our mission: SEEDS encourages respect for life, for earth and for each other.  We help individuals, neighborhoods and communities grow together through gardening, gathering and education.
